James Underdown, PGA Class “A” Professional
James has been a Class “A” PGA professional for 16 years working in Orlando, Florida and in the Berkshires. James was the Head Golf Professional at Falcon’s Fire Golf Club and Orange Lake Resort and Country Club in Kissimmee, Florida for ten years. The next seven years were spent as the Head Golf Professional at Wahconah Country Club in Dalton, Massachusetts. For the last two years he has been the Owner and Director of Instruction at Downswing’s Indoor Golf Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. His specializes in teaching beginners and junior golfers.
Junior Golf Instruction
The goal is to ensure that your child is having fun and to create the desire to improve their skills. Get your junior off to a great start with junior instruction that will teach them the proper fundamentals. As a PGA Professional James will provide the basic foundation of the swing, including grip, body alignment, and posture, as well as safety, rules of the game, and etiquette.
Beginning Golf Instruction
James realizes golf can be an intimidating recreational sport and would like to invite prospective golfers to try taking a golf lesson. As a PGA Professional the goal is to teach you everything you’ll need to know to play golf in a short period of time. Each lesson will focus on the various golf skills you will use while playing. In addition to learning the basics, you will be guided onto a golf course to put your skills into action.
